L is for…

This lizard outside my kitchen window. This is my abc Wednesday for today. I don’t know why I went out of my house so early, but so glad to see this lizard.

That’s the thing I’m going to miss the most when my boys grow up. At ages 3 and 4, they like to name every thing with “MY and MINE”. Sometimes, it’s the beginning of a very loud brawl, flood of tears and broken hearts.
Here’s my boys. They were taking turns telling me it’s “my dog” this morning. This is the puppy which every one claim as ‘mine‘. We adopted this puppy from Petland. They did not tell us that he’s got tapeworm. I don’t think they’re a very good place to get dogs. Right now, this puppy’s got 7 names. One of which is Charlie Brown (what I call him). My four years old calls him Chico. My daughter calls him Mikey Way (after the singer from MyChemicalRomance). My 7 year old calls him Haiku, like the Japanese poem.

N is for this nails spa. It’s really great to come here and have my nails done. The only problem is, it takes 45 minutes or more for a full set. I can’t enjoy it. I keep thinking that in 45 minutes, I can have two full loads of laundry, can have my floors swept, mopped and waxed. In 45 minutes, I can balance my budget, sort my office desk, and re-arrange my lingerie drawers. And those things I can do without paying someone 65 dollars for the privilege.

The chips we all love to hate. I don’t like it that much, and I won’t even crave it, but when I am eating it, I enjoy it. I don’t know the word for that, but that’s Lay’s potato chips to me.
