He’s Now 6!

My fourth child is now 6 years old. It seemed just like yesterday that he’s a baby, now he’s 6 and going to first grade in the Fall. How time flies! This is the time to savor and collect as many memories as possible. I’m like a miser hoarding up for rainy days. Five kids seem a lot, but sometimes, it seem like not enough at all.

Happy birthday, my darling Yossi. I hope you always keep your happy, can-do attitude always!

Some Days It Isn’t Easy

I took two days off from jogging. Tuesday because it was raining and I always feel lazy on those days. On Wednesday, it was because I stayed up until half past two to watch Eclipse’s midnight showing. Plus, I a swimming lesson at 10. Today, I decided to finally jog at 5AM. I can’t imagine that a joint pain on my right hip would be so bad. At some point, I almost stopped and have my husband picked me up. I have it checked and nothing’s wrong with it. It’s probably just because I haven’t jog for almost 6 years and I’m finally starting again. I could probably just walk 6-10 miles, but I’d start getting bored, I have to jog. Anyway, no shin splints, but my calves were screaming. The picture below is from the first 5K my daughter and I went to.

Jogging Makes Me Regular

This post should come with a warning. TMI. Anyway, I have started to noticed that some people go to the bathroom regularly. On the dot, right on the money. I’m one of those who never gets to go except maybe twice a week if I am lucky. In fact, I finished lots of books in the bathroom while waiting for something to happen. I was checking out colon cleansing product reviews when I realized that it’s probably healthier to go on a regular basis. I noticed that when I jog, I can use the bathroom easier. Looks like I have option right now. I could get my colon cleansed, or I could jog. Both sounds good to me.

Cheaper Would Be Better

I like to bargain hunt. Not because I want inferior product or service, but more like I want more value for my money. I just took another look at our health bills. It seemed like the biggest portion of it goes to health insurance. I would really like a more affordable health insurance than the one I already have. Sometimes, I feel like it’s counter intuitive to spend so much money on health insurance, but I guess having one is better than the alternative. Still, it would be so much better if the prices do not go into a major hike every 6-12 months.
