Burried at the Farms in Facebook

My husband finds me most of the time with my iPod, usually listening to audio books, while playing Facebook games. Sometimes, I forget that Facebook is a social network intended for one to get in touch with people. I wouldn’t really know anything about that.

I’m very busy farming. I have two farms in Farm Town, a delightful program with beautiful coconut and fruit trees. Then there’s Farmville, with obviously fake-looking trees. However, once I started playing, I can’t stop. I like that when I accomplished something, I get to share points or treasures with my friends. How cool is that?!

Instead of reading 20 books a month, I’m down to 8 books, but I’ve listened to 16 audio books. These are full length novels with 9 discs or more.  I am honestly horrified to find out how much time I spend clicking and clicking and clicking away.

I keep thinking I could quit anytime. But the truth is, it’s fun. Now, I’ll just have to make sure to play when everyone else in my family is occupied with something else because it would be awful to spend more time online than with the lovely children I have.

So, how much time do you spend playing games in Facebook? Do you know that Facebook has games?

Farm Town photo…that’s a cute ‘manor’ house I own in my farm. :)

Farmville farm…I’m new here, so here’s my teeny, tiny house.
