Thursday Thirteen 21: Statistics About Romance Books Readers
It’s no secret that I have a thing going with book. Just take a look at the number of books I’ve read. I don’t read as much as I used to because I have five children, and other business to manage plus I get to do my own cleaning, cooking and laundry. Not to mention, my office desk seem to have life of its own, and birth control is not one of it’s virtue. I’d better sort these papers soon before I ran out of space.

Ahh, romances. Those much maligned stories that are a heck of a lot of fun and that hold the publishing business up.
Can you tell I dig them? I do. I’m a big fan, even if they don’t make up the bulk of my own reading.

My mother loved romance novels – especially Janet Daily (sp?). She bought so many she had to keep a list so she wouldn’t buy the same book twice, lol.
I have to admit that I would read those books too in those days. Now I just don’t have time to read for pleasure much and when I do it’s usually sci-fi or Stephen King,

I’m Southern, but I have only read ONE romance…and that was [well TWO if you include GWTW of course, but I think that's a given!] The one I’ve read over and over is Thorn Birds.
Thanks for stopping by yesterday for my T-13. We had storms here, and in turn our computer was unplugged all day so I didn’t get a chance to get any visiting done.
Have a terrific weekend!!
