My husband took this picture the one time we got a sort-of decent snow in Dallas. We didn’t get enough snow in our yard to make one, but our neighbor down the street made this.

This is a trip down memory lane. One summer, we packed up our three children and drove to New Mexico and visited Carlsbad Cavern. This cavern is pretty impressive. We took the elevator down because all our children are pretty young to be spelunking.
It was a lot of fun. I also remember the terror of accidentally losing one of my children to the deep ravines which is every where on this cave. It’s cold down there, even in the height of the summer. Below is my 3rd child who is now 6 years old. In this picture, he was only 2.
